I am a big, small, irreplaceable, indispensable part of this planet. I play my own role in the universe. I am the universe wrapped inside the other universe. I am a living organism in another living body, billions of bodies. If the universe is a tree then I am a leaf on that tree that dances when the wind blows. Yes, I am that leaf that sprouts and flourishes in spring and fades in winter in order to be resurrected in a new form, perhaps another leaf. And while I am still on that tree, I dance when the wind blows.

My latest project happen to be in Miami, Florida. I met a young and talented photographer Ricky Cohete. He was aspired an exploration of a male body in dance movement, I felt inspired by recent feature film that I worked on, a biopic on Michelangelo ‘SIN’ directed by Andrei Konchalovsky. We gathered in a studio for ninety minutes, turned Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and played with movement, shapes, shadows, lighting. and simplicity. Here is the result of our collaboration.
